The Job Accelerator Program (NEXTJAP) is an exclusive 10 weeks, full-time, in-person course designed for the top final-year students or recent fresh graduates to learn in depth web/mobile app development and get high paying jobs.
This initiative is under the NEXT Foundation where RM1million is allocated to help the underprivileged students to tap into the tech scene.
At the end of 10 weeks, we will either work with NEXT Academy or be employed by employers within our network!
NEXTJAP is currently fully funded by NEXT Academy's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to empower individuals and build Southeast Asia's tech ecosystem. Students pay nothing. Yeap! That's right. Nada.
This opportunity is mainly for final-year students or recent graduates, majoring in Computer Science or Mathematics.
Apple's relatively new programming language swift is both elegant and friendly to learn. Learning this new language will keep you in pace with the technology curve. Learn Swift alongside Objective-C. Our students are comfortable no matter what they're coding when they leave.
Even with Apple's swanky new language, you still need to learn Objective-C—from ABAddressBookBuffer to Zoomscale. But the real practical reason is because most companies out there still have their iOS code bases in Objective-C. If you want to have a wider option for employment, freelancing and even starting your own company, Objective-C will give you more options.

By creating these apps, you will be creating the logic behind them; and not just that, you will also discover how to make use of your iOS mobile devices' functionalities to create a great experience for the players.

We will shortlist based on your answers and invite you for an interview. If you meet our criteria for application, there should not be anything you need to do to prepare for our interview.
The interview will consist of some verbal problem solving, coding challenges and soft-skills interview.
f you are shortlisted to attend our program, you are required to commit to the 10 weeks of in-person classes at NEXT Academy, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Malaysia.
During the program, you will learn all you need to succeed as a junior world class developer.
Classes are extremely hands-on and collaborative. There will be 10-20 students in your class.
The best time to attend the Job Acceleration Program is immediately after your university graduation.
Towards the tail end of the programme, we would have some of the best employers lined up to evaluate you for a job.
We will prepare you to with sufficient technical skills and expectations to get a job at some of these employers.
Your job will be highly relevant to what you have learnt and your employers will expect you to be at the top of your game.
