The Data Analyst will work together with other departments to gather and sort the data. After which he or she will start analysing the data in order to translate it into actionable strategies. 

Data to analyse can be the number of sales within a certain period of time, the revenue against costs etc.

Data Analysts are in high demand as most company these days rely on data to drive their business. Therefore, you are an important asset to the company. 

While some professions are suitable for freelancers, analysing data is a bit more difficult. There’s a bigger chance to get your feet off the ground by applying at an organisation.

Data Analysts earn between $46,000 and $96,000 a year. The average salary is $67,000 a year.
